A delegation of 7 from Illinois university commission visits Xi’an International University on October, 22nd. President Huang Teng, vice-president Du Ruiqing, director of the International Center of Exchange and Cooperation Gao Jiafu, and the deputy director Zeng Qiang meets them in person.
President Huang Teng extends warm welcome to all the delegates and introduces the international cooperation education which is an unique feature of Xi’an International University. XAIU has cooperated with many universities from all over the world and achieved mutual progress through such exchange and cooperation. Based on our traditional and profound Chinese culture, president Huang Teng also highlights the unique university culture with the spirit of “turning fishes into dragons” at the core.

Accompanied by the leaders of XAIU, all the delegates have watched an advertisement film which introduces Xi’an International University, visited the school-history room, international center of exchange and cooperation, and the apartment for overseas students. Besides, they have seen the surroundings on campus, school buildings, and some facilities for public service. In addition, all the delegates have had a deeper talk with some students and teachers here so that they have a better and deeper understanding of the teaching and learning. Such a comprehensive and careful survey will lay a solid foundation for the further cooperation and exchange between XAIU and universities in US.

As the first private school to be granted to have the international cooperation education and the overseas students’ education, Xi’an International University is characterized by its strong international flavor. Since 2008, XAIU cooperated with College of Lake County and its affiliated institutions on students exchange programs and built very friendly relationship with them. At present, five groups of overseas students have studied here in XAIU.
